The HSE department has overall system responsibility for several disciplines, including the external environment, working environment safety, physical safety and information security. Much of the department's responsibility also involves verifying whether the management system works in the various disciplines.

Nammo Raufoss is now experiencing major growth, which means the need for more resources for the HSE department. We are therefore now looking for an HSE advisor with special responsibility for explosion safety. As an HSE advisor, you will be Nammo's expert on explosive protection and share relevant professional knowledge with the organization. You will support the organization in preventive work, especially regarding how we can avoid accidents with energetic materials. Much of the knowledge you get from internal expertise, regulations and resource persons in collaborating environments.

We are looking for a person who has an interest and preferably some experience in processing energetic materials. You will need to understand how our energetic materials work in order to advise our departments on how to protect themselves in our processes. You must be able to seek out and collaborate with relevant environments and public bodies, and at the same time be able to express yourself clearly both in writing and orally. You will be energized by training others and sharing your knowledge, while being able to work systematically in documenting compliance with our most important regulations; the Explosives Ordinance and DoD Manual 4145.26.

You should have relevant education at BSc level. Solid relevant practical experience can compensate for lack of education. You must have good technical understanding and be able to make simple calculations.
