Nammo Raufoss is growing rapidly. We are now looking for a committed Quality Assurance Manager within the Ammunition business areas. You will lead a team of 14 skilled quality assurance engineers, and be the operational leader for quality in our development and production programs. We are looking for a manager who has a desire to develop the department, is good at interdisciplinary collaboration, and who dares to challenge operational functions in the business to ensure compliance and development of the company's processes and management system.


The position will provide good opportunities for personal and professional development in a rapidly growing international company.


Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Staff responsible for the quality assurance department
  • Quality responsible for our ammunition products
  • Follow-up and reporting on quality-related KPIs
  • Overall responsibility for product certification
  • Efficient operation of own department
  • Contribute to the development of plans for conducting internal/external audits


Qualifications:

  • Higher education in technical subjects.
  • Professional expertise in quality assurance work
  • Experience from manufacturing operations is desirable
  • Qualifications in Lean Six Sigma are desirable
