Nammo is one of the most exciting industrial groups in Norway, and is facing a huge growth and development phase. Nammo Raufoss, the largest subsidiary in Nammo, is a solid and innovative company with a complex business structure, where good financial management is crucial for success. We are therefore looking for an analytical and structured Project Controller to strengthen the finance department in a period of significant growth in both scope and complexity in our investment projects and development projects.

As a Project Controller, you will play a key role in following up and managing the finances of our investment projects, with a focus on cost control, risk management and forecasting. You will be responsible for ongoing reporting of project status, preparing financial analyses and contributing to the improvement of internal processes. Working closely with project managers and the finance department, you will ensure that projects are delivered according to set budget and timeframes. The position will be part of our finance department of 13 people, reporting to the Director of Finance.

Key tasks

  • Follow-up and control of the finances of major investment/development projects, including cost management, budget follow-up and cost forecasts
  • Prepare forecasts and cost overviews for the total investment/development portfolio in the company in collaboration with your colleagues in the finance department
  • Identify and manage financial risks in the projects

  • Participate in the Group's cross-functional Controller collaboration, and contribute to the improvement of internal processes

To succeed in the role, you must be able to collaborate well with people around you, as you will work closely with both technical and financial resources. It's important that you are analytical and accurate, and have the ability to see the big picture while managing details. You should also have the ability to work in a structured way, handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under time pressure.

The right person has a relevant education in economics, finance or accounting. Experience in financial management from industrial companies or similarly complex companies is desirable, as is knowledge of ERP and BI systems. Experience with either project management or financial follow-up of projects is an advantage. It is a prerequisite that you have good skills in both Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
