The department for NDT (Non Destructive Testing) consists of 17 employees, all of whom are certified in the NDT profession. The department inspects almost all products that Nammo Raufoss manufactures, either in automated facilities or manual testing. The department also takes on external assignments in the local community and the Mjøs area.

In this position, you will help to ensure that what we produce in Nammo Raufoss has the right quality. You will be able to help develop processes and methods within the subject area so that manual and automated processes are in accordance with LEAN, but also take into account safety. You will be able to contribute with your good humor and good solutions in everyday life.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Quality control of products and components with radiography testing, magnetic powder, penetrant, eddy current and ultrasound testing
• The position may include analog and digital techniques in radiography, digital and automated ultrasound systems and magnetic particle and penetrant testing on-site (in production) and in-house (in the department)

Qualifications

• Certified level 2 according to EN-ISO-9712 is preferred, but if not, training and certification will be provided.
• Technical background, e.g. certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Applicants should have knowledge of and/or interest in quality control
• Knowledge/experience in the use of computer tools, eg. The position will require you to be certified according to international standards for working with NDT testing, and you must be willing to complete the necessary training.
