For our Infrastructure business area, we are now looking for an experienced corporate lawyer to be based at our office in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
The role of Corporate Lawyer
As a corporate lawyer, you are a valued support to the entire business area and the departments you are responsible for. Your role will include providing legal support to our managers in the field of construction law in particular, but also commercial contracts and public procurement. In your role, you will face a wide variety of challenges and you will be involved in all aspects of the business from tendering, risk management, reviewing and negotiating contracts to providing ongoing advice on projects that vary in complexity and size. In addition, dispute management and compliance are included.
About us
The legal unit throughout the NCC Group consists of about 50 in-house lawyers and also contributes to raising knowledge in construction law and contract management in the organization through internal training. The exchange of experience within the unit and the organization in general contributes to continued development and good cohesion in the group. The unit contributes to NCC's continued strategic development work and collaborates on legal issues with colleagues in other business areas.
In the Infrastructure business area, you are part of a Nordic team of 10 colleagues located in Solna, Gothenburg, Malmö, Oslo and Copenhagen. Infrastructure delivers design and production of large infrastructure projects and civil engineering works such as roads, bridges and tunnels, wind farms and water and sewage. We are about 4270 employees working in over 1000 ongoing projects.
Your profile
We are looking for you with a law degree who has 7-10 years of experience from independent legal work in a large company or law firm, with a focus on construction law, public procurement and commercial agreements. Notary service is an advantage. Your Swedish and English are good in both speech and writing. You thrive on independently managing and prioritizing your work and handling a wide variety of issues in different areas where you become an integral part of the business processes. You also thrive in a relationship-building function, delivering good service and have the ability to provide advice that is effective and practically useful.
Further information
The position is located in our office in Gothenburg or Stockholm and travel may occur in the service. Reporting is to the General Counsel of NCC Infrastructure.
