NCC's Civil Sweden South/West division specializes in major infrastructure projects such as tunnels, roads and railways, but also projects with complex concrete structures with customers, primarily in the public sector. Civil Sweden West/South consists of four departments and the division is part of the Infrastructure business area.
The Civil Sweden West/South division is growing rapidly and we are now looking for a Department Controller with a focus on financial control, for our Civil West department.

You are a person who is interested in a complex work with a lot of information gathering and who is good at analyzing and drawing conclusions and acting on them.
We see that you are confident in your professional role and enjoy working independently with a great deal of responsibility in dialogue with the Divisional Controller. The work involves many contact surfaces and a lot of cooperation with others, which requires you to be interested in teamwork and in developing good relationships.
The role of Department Controller
In the role of Department Controller, you contribute to creating success and added value for the business. You are part of a team with other controllers where your main tasks consist of driving and improving outcome and forecast reporting, performance monitoring, financial control, key figure monitoring of the department and its projects together with the Division Controller.
As Department Controller, you have a close dialogue with the Head of Department and other department management in financial matters and, within the framework of business controlling, will actively support, analyze and follow up the business. You are responsible for the financial management of the department. Furthermore, you support business managers in forecasting and follow-up work and hold financial training for mainly production staff.
You report to our Division Controller.
Business area Infrastructure
NCC Infrastructure is a Nordic business area, with a turnover of about 18 billion, which runs everything from smaller to large and complex projects.Our work covers the entire chain from design and construction to production of roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, ports, treatment plants and wind turbines.
Finance is an independent support function with interaction to other staffs, such as Legal and Project Management.
Your profile as Department Controller
You have an academic degree in business administration or equivalent and a few years of experience from a business-oriented role as controller or from similar tasks. Experience of processing information from different business systems and a good user of Excel and Powerpoint is a requirement.
If you have experience from the construction industry and work in production projects as well as knowledge of successive profit accounting, it is meritorious.
As a person, you are analytical with a critical thinking, structured and result-oriented and are used to working independently to develop and implement relevant analyzes at the business level.You are used to achieving success in your work by networking and collaborating with others and communicate fluently in Swedish and English, orally and in writing.
