We are looking for a driven, development-oriented and self-driven Department Controller for NCC Infrastructure Division Civil SN, department Middle, who enjoys working in a business and operational role.
The position as Department Controller
In the role of Departmental Controller, you will have overall responsibility for leading and developing financial management within the department. The position includes supporting, analyzing and following up the business. This means responsibility for budget and forecast work, outcome reporting and financial statements. You will work closely with the Head of Department and other business managers, with whom you will follow up on the progress of the department's projects in terms of profitability and cash flow. In the role of Divisional Controller, you are part of the management team.
You collaborate and develop together with other Controllers in the business area and are part of various networks. Your manager is the Divisional Controller for the Civil SE Sthlm/North division.
About the Infrastructure business area
The NCC Infrastructure business area is a Nordic business area with sales of approximately SEK 18 billion that runs large and complex projects and builds and renews infrastructure in local communities. Our work covers the entire chain from design and construction to production and maintenance of roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, ports, wind turbines and production facilities.
Your profile as Department Controller
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in economics or equivalent and a few years of experience from a business-oriented and analytical role as Controller or equivalent. You have a good understanding of financial issues and a strong operational and business interest.
Your knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint is good as these are your daily working tools. In addition, you are an experienced user of any business system where you retrieve information, perform analysis and have the ability to summarize and draw relevant conclusions.
Experience in the construction industry, P&L accounting and Power BI is an advantage. As a person, you are analytical with a critical thinking, structured and result-oriented and are used to working independently to develop and implement relevant analyses at the business level. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in learning about the business and our processes in a position that offers you opportunities to make a difference and to develop in your role!
You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.

The position is a permanent position with a location in Uppsala where the department has its regional office. Other locations that can be discussed are Västerås or Örebro. This position is background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
