Job description
The role includes working with dimensioning and design of civil engineering structures, but also with project advice, review of external consultants and development projects. You will work in assignments of varying scope in both size and technical challenge. With NCC's projects as clients, you will work close to production and, in collaboration with NCC Teknik's colleagues, develop production-friendly and sustainable solutions for NCC's contracts.
There is the opportunity to specialize in the dimensioning of civil engineering structures, but also to work with assignment management in both smaller and larger projects. As an assignment leader, you hold the team together in the individual assignment, are responsible for quality, budget and schedule. In the role of project manager, you are an important part of solving the technical problems the assignment entails.
Some of our projects are safety-classified.
Your profile
To succeed in the role, we believe that you are a trained engineer with a focus on civil engineering and have sufficient experience of construction calculations to be described as relatively "self-propelled". You are passionate about finding cost-effective and production-friendly solutions in both early and late project stages in consultation with production. You like technical challenges and as a person you are positive, creative and responsible. As the work involves daily contacts with different customers and stakeholders, you must be a good communicator. You communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and have a good command of English.
About the department
NCC Teknik is a department within NCC Infrastructure, but supports the whole of NCC with its cutting-edge expertise. In total, the department consists of about 70 employees divided between the units Civil Engineering, Geo & Land, Sustainability and Environment and Project Management. The Civil Engineering group supports NCC with expertise through consulting services. Services offered include tendering and production support, technical and strategic development, consulting and project planning, etc.
