About the Role
The project engineer is one of the key roles working in close collaboration with the rest of the project organization on project finance. This involves preparing production estimates, working continuously with cost control and compiling final cost forecasts four times a year. To succeed in this, you need to be well versed in current contractual terms and conditions and be able to communicate well with employees, customers and suppliers. The role is broad, you will work with everything from invoice issues to longer-term strategic work. The role is part of the commercial group, the group also includes other project engineers but also a Commercial Project Manager, Group Manager Finance, costing engineers and buyers.
About the project
NCC has been given the privilege of building Västerås new hospital. This is a major project that will place great demands on our planning and implementation, with the complexity that the construction of a hospital entails.
Your profile as an experienced Project Engineer
As a person, you feel a great commitment to order and orderliness and to working with finances. You must have a good ability to see the big picture but also have the ability to analyze the details if necessary. You enjoy working in a team close to production as well as independently. Your educational background must be relevant to the role. Your Swedish is good in speech and writing and you have a B-driving license.
We are looking for you who have several years of professional experience of similar tasks. Today you probably work as a construction/project engineer, project controller, or economist, but you can also work in other roles with great knowledge/interest in financial management in general. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the construction industry and preferably in the MAP system.
Other information
The position is a permanent position until 2028, located at our project office in Västerås, and you will report directly to the Group Manager Finance.
