Are you the one?

We have just started a reorganization within the department, which means that we are now looking for you who want to be involved in developing our new Hydropower unit and support parts of the existing department with about 200 officials and professional employees, from an HR perspective. You are part of an HR team for Civil North where you mainly support operations in Värmland, Jämtland, Västerbotten and Västernorrland. You will also be part of the Hydro Power unit's management team.

The role of HR Business Partner
Your tasks are mainly operational in areas such as career and development planning, recruitment, restructuring, salary issues, rehabilitation and labor law / negotiations. In addition to this, you are responsible for driving more long-term HR issues within the unit, but will also be involved in joint development projects within NCC. By working in a consultative capacity and providing qualified support to managers, you contribute greatly to driving the business forward.

You drive and implement HR issues according to NCC's guidelines/policies, which are based on legislation but also on the strategic goals of the business area and the department. We have a strong and genuine focus on developing our employees and our business in which you are expected to take an active role.

You will work closely with your HR colleagues within the department and you will also be part of a network of HR BP colleagues, both within the division, the business area and from other departments. You support each other and share your knowledge. We also have shared resources and HR specialists in Recruitment, Employer Branding, Skills Development, Work Environment, Labor Law and Compensation & Benefits.

You report to the Head of HR of the division.

About the Civil North Division
The Civil North department is part of the Infrastructure business area, which today has a strong position in Sweden and has assignments throughout the Nordic region. Our assignments include everything from design and construction to production and maintenance of infrastructure, construction work and service in ground and water works, etc. Our department currently consists of about 450 employees and covers Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland and Värmland.

Your profile as an HR Business Partner
You currently work in the HR area and have at least five years of experience in qualified and broad HR work. You have a university degree with a focus on human resources and working life issues or other university education and with equivalent experience. If you have also worked with both white-collar and blue-collar employees and also have experience in the industrial or construction sector, this would be an advantage for both you and us.

You are responsive and have a trustworthy and professional approach. You have experience and are confident in meeting managers and employees in various personnel-related situations as you support, challenge and propose solutions.

You are used to working independently, but want to be part of a team, and have the ability to prioritize, drive and complete tasks in a systematic way. You will be expected to take an active role in the management team, showing interest in the needs and circumstances of the whole organization and its staff.

Negotiation experience and experience of contractual issues is an advantage, as is experience of change management.

You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.

Further information
The position is a permanent full-time position based in either Umeå or Östersund. We apply probationary employment. A B-driving license is a requirement for the position. Your area of responsibility includes Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland and Värmland, which entails some traveling, although most of it can be supported remotely. This position is background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
