Your role as Laboratory Technician
The work mainly involves continuous manufacturing control of crushed stone and asphalt products, mainly regarding composition and analysis of mechanical properties, sampling in the field also occurs. The work includes everything from receiving and registering samples to analysis and result reporting to the customer. The business is conducted according to accredited methods and industry regulations.

Your profile
We are looking for you who have at least an upper secondary education or equivalent with a technical focus. You can also have a degree from technical education at university level. If you have previously worked with laboratory testing and quality work, it is an advantage. You should have good computer skills, analytical skills, and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing, as we have high demands on documentation and reporting.

We are looking for you who are positive as a person and have good social skills. You are quality conscious, analytical and have a sense of order. Flexibility and the willingness to learn new things are important qualities. As we work in teams to meet our common objectives, it is important that you enjoy working in a team with your colleagues. However, a large part of the work is done on your own and therefore it is important that you are motivated, can take your own initiative and work independently.

Additional information
The service refers to a full-time seasonal position with placement at our road laboratory in Sundsvall, travel in service may also occur.

B driving license is a requirement. Working hours are daytime, overtime may occur. The work involves some physical work with heavy lifting.
