The role of machine mechanic
A machine mechanic's work consists of carrying out repair and maintenance work, both emergency repairs and daily maintenance on our asphalt machines. Both in the field and at our workshop in Borås. The role also includes purchasing spare parts and calling off service from external suppliers.
You should have very good repair skills, preferably with experience from construction machinery. You also have experience of troubleshooting in vehicle electricity, hydraulics, and can electric and gas welding.
We are looking for you who enjoy working in a small, close-knit group. You are responsive, service-oriented and enjoy working with people. Orderliness and having a solid safety mindset in the workplace are a matter of course for you. You are responsible, flexible and like to solve tasks regardless of whether the task is planned in advance or comes unexpectedly.
It is important that you are open to performing a variety of tasks and are positive to help in other areas of work.
