NCC's newly launched business area, NCC Green Industry Transformation, is now looking for a driven Project Engineer to join our team in Gällivare. Heavy industry is transforming and paving the way for a fossil-free future that creates significant values in the economy, technological development and the environment. As an important part of the community building in northern Sweden, where some of the most crucial investments are taking place, we are now looking for a driven Project Engineer - an important role for one of our complex and large infrastructure and industrial projects. The role requires active presence in Gällivare.
About the position as Project Engineer
The position as Project Engineer is an opportunity for a first, very exciting role in the construction industry and in very large, complex projects. In this role, you support the Commercial Manager in the said mega-projects, which gives the role great breadth, malleability and very good development opportunities.

Operational support and relief

Project administration and support
Support with tasks related to financial management and time management
Manage quality and environmental documentation and contractual issues with subcontractors and clients
Administer AET work and ensure the organization is up to date on contractual terms
Customer related tasks
Establish payment plans and manage invoicing
Report discrepancies and customize additional work for customers and suppliers
Prepare reports and final documentation as needed
Cost and production
Coordinate authorization, quantity management and change procedures
Check supplier invoices, forecast reports and establish schedule
Ensure purchasing, delivery schedules and subcontractor documentation
Prepare estimates, resource management and logistics
Quality, health and safety
Follow up on health and safety documents and risk assessments
Plan and prepare procedures and documents
Identify and manage risks and participate in project meetings for lessons learned
Documentation management and compliance monitoring
Your profile
We are looking for you with a post-secondary degree in engineering or economics. You have a strong interest in the construction industry and large projects, and may have already gained some relevant experience through extra jobs, traineeships or similar. You are a fast learner with strong ownership of your tasks. You are very good at collaborating, communicating and conveying your ideas and suggestions.

Place of work
Presence in Gällivare is set at a minimum of 50% of working hours, a prerequisite for success in the role, but it is possible to take on this exciting role even for those who live elsewhere. The rest of the time is preferably spent in a place with NCC offices and / or a place with good opportunities to get to Gällivare. For example: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Piteå, Kalix, Luleå, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, or Kramfors.
