We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer with specialization in planning and cost management. In this role, you will be a key person in our projects, responsible for ensuring that cost estimates and budgets are carefully designed and followed throughout the project life cycle.
Our projects vary in both size and complexity. Today we run large assignments in water and foundation construction with customers in the defense and green industry such as electricity distribution.
The position as Project Engineer Land
You work closely with both the site manager and the project manager and support at the start of production, prepare planning documents, make ongoing financial reconciliations, produce forecasts, calculation documents, production calculations, handle ÄTA and follow up that we deliver according to requirements.
You are well versed in and follow up ongoing contract documents and governing documents. You run a number of parallel projects. You are also responsible for completing final documentation.
You report to our Production Manager in Land and are part of a team of about 30 people. We strive to work in an open and learning culture where everyone shares their experiences and knowledge. Among other things, we have regular meetings and other forums where you get the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues as well as a "battery" of different training courses.
About Department Civil North
The Civil North department has about 600 employees and operates in the field of land and construction with everything from design and construction to production. We are divided into several production groups with operations in Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland and Västernorrland and Värmland.
Your profile as a Project Engineer
You have a construction engineering education and at least three years of experience from the construction industry but preferably have a senior profile. Today you are either working as a contract/project engineer or as a supervisor, site manager, project manager or tender engineer. If you come from the client side, you probably work as a project manager in construction.
You have solid experience of time planning, production calculations and cost follow-up, and are skilled in construction law.
Structure and planning are important qualities that are a must if you are to thrive in this position as well as the ability to see the big picture but when required go down to the details.
You thrive in a varied and broad role where you get the opportunity to work both independently and in teams. Your drive and commitment to moving your work forward and finding solutions is one of your strongest qualities.
You are fluent in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Further information
The service is a permanent position with a location in either Luleå or Piteå. B-driving license is a requirement as you will travel in the service. In some projects, overnight stays may be necessary. This position is background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
