The position of Project Management Specialist


The main role of the Project Management Specialist is to be involved in the start-up of all projects in order to create a structured way of working, to support the projects and the department in cost management, risk management, and project production plans, and to act as a communication link between the department's projects, project engineers and the department's controller on cost management issues.

Responsibility for ensuring that information is communicated between departments and NCC centrally in terms of planning and cost control.

About the department Västmanland/Sörmland/Östergötland
Department VSÖ currently consists of about 250 dedicated employees and we are based on the offices located within the department's geography. Our offices are located in Västerås, Eskilstuna, Nyköping, Norrköping and Linköping.

The department has a broad competence in all types of house production and consists of well-functioning project teams. Our assignments are initiated in early stages in close collaboration with professional customers. We work actively with sustainability, digitized processes and we strive to be proactive construction experts who lead our customers through the complex construction process.

Your profile as a Project Management Specialist

You have a construction engineering education, probably at university level with several years of experience from a role as a project engineer, site manager or equivalent and have a desire to want to develop further in project management, such as cost management and planning in our projects.

To succeed well in the role of project management specialist, we believe it is important that you have the ability to make contacts and collaborate with our site and project managers. As a person, you are thorough and structured, you have an interest in cost management and follow-up and you also see a challenge in continuously improving our processes and routines. You are educational in your way of working and enjoy having a role where you can work independently and act as a specialist support to the projects. You enjoy leading, coordinating and running internal networks and have an interest in leadership issues.

The position is a permanent position and is located at one of our branch offices. B-driver's license is a requirement as there will be a lot of travel. This position is background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
