This position belongs to NCC Green Industry Transformation - a newly launched business area focused on delivering complex and extensive infrastructure and industrial projects in the billions of kronor. We are leading the development of the green industrial projects of the future in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, and you now have the chance to be part of this journey towards a sustainable future. For this position, we conduct background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture. The role requires active presence in Gällivare.
The position as Project Manager
As a project manager with us, you will have a key role in controlling and distributing the design work from Phase 2 to handover. You will play a central role in ensuring that technical, functional, financial, work environment and environmental requirements are met. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and following up the work of the consultants, so that all parts of the project work together smoothly. In your role, you will work closely with the production team to plan the design based on production needs. An important part of your mission will be to ensure that social requirements and legislation are complied with.
Examples of tasks:
Participate in the development of design instructions, schedules and action plans
Support the procurement process by setting requirements and following up on subcontractors
Lead and document design reviews and meetings
Ensure that environmental issues are properly addressed through collaboration with BAS-P
Verify and release construction documents
Follow up on design budget and tender estimate

Your profile
We are looking for you who have a degree in construction, for example as a civil engineer or other relevant civil engineering degree. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through professional experience. You have a proven track record of successful project management and good collaboration with production teams throughout the project life cycle.To succeed in the role, we believe you will have:
Experience in both construction production and design
Good leadership skills and able to steer teams towards common goals
Strong ability to collaborate and synchronize different stakeholders
Clear communication to convey the big picture and build consensus
Structured approach and good planning skills to drive the project forward

Placementort
It is possible to take on this exciting role even for those who live elsewhere, as long as presence in Gällivare is at least 50%. The rest of the time is preferably spent where NCC has offices and / or there are good opportunities to get to Gällivare. For example: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Piteå, Kalix, Luleå, Jokkmokk, Kiruna. Convenient flight connections are also available from Örnsköldsvik and Kramfors.
