Project Manager with focus on Hydropower

We are now strengthening our operations in Hydropower. Exciting assignments await us in Västerbotten as the market in construction and hydropower is growing and we with it. Are you our new project manager who wants to take responsibility for your own profit unit with personnel responsibility?  

Your projects are mainly in civil engineering and concrete construction. You offer customers a total commitment and take responsibility for production methods, safe workplaces and structured forms of collaboration.

The position of Project Manager

As a project manager for our civil engineering business, you are responsible for a profit unit that has a turnover of about SEK 100 million / year, divided into a number of larger or smaller projects. You work with projects mainly in hydropower but also other types of construction projects. To help you, you have a number of officials and professional workers for whom you have personnel responsibility and are involved in the implementation of the projects.

You are a support to the site manager throughout the production process, handle customer contacts and are responsible for ensuring that the customer's expectations are met. In some cases, you are also involved in the tender process and always have the idea of selling additional projects to existing customers.

You report to Andre Persson, who is the production manager for the Hydropower North and Civil Engineering Västerbotten area.

About the Civil North Department

The Civil North Department has about 450 employees and operates in land and construction from design and construction to production and maintenance in infrastructure, civil engineering and service in, among other things, land and water works. We are divided into several production groups where Hydropower is one.

You have several years of experience in construction production in civil engineering or from the client side and experience of managing staff. Concrete class 1 is a desirable merit.

As you have overall responsibility for both the project's finances and staff, good knowledge of project management is required, which includes planning, production calculations, risk assessments, financial follow-up and various production methods.

You thrive in the role of leader and realize how important it is to set clear goals for your project and convey this to your employees. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with your coworkers and to create teams that work together.

You are driven by doing good business and therefore you understand the importance of building close customer relationships so that together you create good projects.

You have a good command of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
