To join our team, we are looking for people who, along with their technical skills, love to lead, distribute and ensure that all disciplines in the early stages of the construction process work effectively. With us, you will work with different types of building construction projects, for both the private and public sectors, ranging from commercial projects to housing, schools and care facilities. NCC is at the forefront of virtual construction (VDC), which means that you will actively work with these issues together with our VDC leader. With us, the BIM model has a given place at every opportunity in the Project Studio but also during the calculation work and in production.

The role of Project Manager

As a project manager, you are involved in the early stages of a project. You are the link between project development and production. You lead a project team consisting of external consultants, contractors and clients. You will also be joined by our specialists in areas such as energy, costing, purchasing and production. Together, you will transform the client's wishes into system and construction documents that generate production can build in a safe and efficient way. It will be important for you to ensure that requirements are met based on both project goals and legislation.

Your profile

For this role, we are looking for you with many years of experience together with a construction engineering education. We see that you have worked in a role as a project manager, project manager or have another leading role in design or production. You may have a background in construction, VDC, production or installation and thus have a great understanding of construction processes, construction technology, costs and construction law. It is also important that you feel confident in your leadership and dare to trust others, but at the same time know that reconciliations and requirements are important for a project to be successful. As a project manager, you have many internal and external contacts and not everyone has the same view, so being responsive, diplomatic but also determined are qualities this service requires.

Additional information

The position is full-time, until further notice, with placement at our regional office Kineum in Gårda. You will belong to our specialist group and report to our Group Manager in Project Management, Gothenburg Building West. This position is background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
