This position belongs to NCC Green Industry Transformation - a newly launched business area with a focus on delivering complex and extensive infrastructure and industrial projects in the billions of kronor. We are leading the development of the green industrial projects of the future in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, and you now have the chance to be part of this journey towards a sustainable future. The role requires active presence in Gällivare.
About the position as Senior Tender Engineer
Do you want to have a key role in large and complex projects? As a Senior Tender Engineer with us, you will be a central part of the tender and project sales process. You will be responsible for cost estimates and work from the early stages together with marketing and account managers. In the project team, you collaborate with the production manager, project manager, site manager, buyer and project manager to ensure high quality and profitability. After the project is assigned, you participate in the start-up, follow-up and management of project changes. Knowledge exchange and experience sharing is an important part of the job.
You will understand how the project will be implemented and analyze every detail - from materials and logistics to personnel and tools. You do not need to be an expert in VDC, for example, although you have the ability to understand and simulate all dimensions of the project in order to make complex cost calculations.
Examples of tasks:
Costing in the costing system MAP
Supporting project sales through key and detailed tender calculations
Structuring and developing the tender process in collaboration with the tender team
Identify and price technical and commercial risks
Collaborate with the purchasing function to compile and evaluate supplier bids
Support the production organization in handover and start-up of projects
Your profile
We are looking for you with experience of large and complex projects, as our business area only handles large-scale construction projects. Experience from the construction industry is an advantage but not a requirement. If you are good at calculating the cost of large, complex flows or projects, you are an interesting candidate for this position.To succeed in the role, we look for you to have:
Experience with costing, planning and cost management software, such as MAP, Power Project, MS Project and the Office suite
Advanced knowledge of construction law (AMA Anläggning, MER, AB04, ABT06)
Strong analytical skills and accuracy in calculations
Good communication skills and the ability to clearly present and argue for your calculations
Drive to find cost-effective solutions
Self-reliance and a good ability to collaborate

Place of work
It is possible to take on this exciting role even for those who live elsewhere, provided that presence in Gällivare is at least 50%. The rest of the time is preferably spent where NCC has offices and / or there are good opportunities to get to Gällivare. For example: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Piteå, Kalix, Luleå, Jokkmokk, Kiruna. There are also direct flights from Kramfors.
