The position of Site Manager
As Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the part of the project within land that you lead is run based on set goals in project planning, resource acquisition and implementation in terms of quality, time and finances. You will support with your expertise in production.
We work in teams where your role in the team is to engage and motivate through participation and development and in this way achieve the goals and deadlines that are set. You will be part of a team where we challenge ourselves to deliver the best sustainable solutions in an organization with good values and a strong will to succeed. In the project, you work at the Örgryte production site, which is one of our production sites within E05 Korsvägen.
In the role, you lead and distribute tasks independently and report to the Operation Manager. To your help, you have committed and knowledgeable subcontractors, employees and specialists in, among other things, daily work management, costing, purchasing and design, who work together to achieve the best possible results.
Your profile
To thrive and be successful in the role, we see that you have several years of experience from a leading position in civil engineering projects with a focus on land, pipeline work and road construction. You have the ability to coordinate your own resources and subcontractors. You are confident in your leadership role and have a good ability to delegate and make demands. You communicate easily in both Swedish and English.
Furthermore, you should have a focus on results and profitability as well as an ability to coordinate, structure and communicate the work in an effective way.
The work places high demands on your ability to lead and inspire your employees and balance a holistic perspective and details along the way. As a person, you are therefore responsive and pay attention to the abilities of others in order to be able to delegate effectively. In addition to this, we see that you share our view that a good and safe work environment makes a difference.
About project E05 Korsvägen
You will be part of our project E05 Korsvägen, which is a partial phase of the West Link in central Gothenburg. NCC has together with a German company, Wayss & Freytag, formed a Joint Venture called WLC - West Link Contractors. The project is a collaborative project where we work closely with our customer and involve many professional groups. To quote our project manager; "This is a once in a lifetime project. Building Korsvägen is a unique project in Sweden that is being done in Gothenburg's inner city where we face all the challenges that one can encounter in a project in a relatively short time that is environmentally correct, sustainable and important for Gothenburg's future."
