Supervisor for Hercules (Östergötland/Sörmland)

About Hercules and Region Nord

In the northern region, we carry out foundation work in both small and large projects. Hercules operates throughout the country and works with NCC as well as external customers. The position belongs to Region North and is located at our local office in Linköping. Our main geographical focus is Östergötland and Sörmland. Work in other counties within the region may occur during certain periods.

The position as Supervisor  
In this role, you will be responsible for managing production in accordance with the project schedule and established weekly plans. You will ensure compliance with laws and regulations, ensure a safe workplace and participate in the development of risk assessments and work preparations. You are also responsible for planning and calling off subcontractors and reporting any obstacles, changes and deviations to the site manager.

When necessary, you prepare and participate in construction meetings, and you ensure that daily documentation takes place by writing a diary after each working day. Work management may take place on several projects in parallel, and travel may occur.

Your profile We are looking for you who have a civil engineering education, such as a university engineer, YH or equivalent experience. To succeed in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in construction and foundation work in contracting activities and previous experience of a supervisory role or other leadership function in construction and construction production.

You thrive in a leading role where you distribute tasks and give clear directives to ensure efficient and safe production. With a results-oriented approach, you plan and structure work to meet schedules and deliver high quality. You also have a good understanding of project economics and can analyze revenues and costs to make informed decisions.

Furthermore, we see that you are communicative and thrive in a role where you work closely with clients, subcontractors and other project members. You have the ability to create trust and build long-term relationships, which contributes to successful projects and satisfied customers.

The position requires that you:

• Have a good understanding of project economics and decision-making linked to income and costs
• Master Swedish in both speech and writing
• Have good computer skills
• Have a B driving license

Further information 
The position is full-time and a permanent position that starts with a 6-month probationary period. Your location will be at our office in Linköping. Start according to agreement. This position is background-checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
