We are looking for an enterprising and self-driven technical specialist to join our purchasing organization. If you enjoy traveling, meeting colleagues around the country and solving technical problems, you have found the right place. Your mission is to maintain and service burners, as well as mill and powder plants at our asphalt plants.Today, NCC has about fifty asphalt plants around the Nordic region, which means that you travel a large part of your working hours.  

Main areas of responsibility  

  • Operation, technical advisor and expert on fuel systems in the Nordic region. 
  • Build close cooperation with production managers in the Nordics, and contribute to production optimization through technical opportunities. 
  • Project manager in fuel conversion. 
  • Contribute to the transfer of experience in production in the Nordic region, and protect NCC Industry and invested capital in Swedish production facilities. 
  • Communicate strategically and commercially important observations, and ensure compliance with NCC's health and safety policy and regulations. 

About the Team 

You are part of NCC Industry's Nordic purchasing organization and work closely with your 3 colleagues working in the same area and reporting to the Manager of Specialists. You also have very close cooperation with the colleagues at our production units where you are an expert and technical advisor.

  • We would like you to have a university degree with a focus on technology. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. Industry experience is a big plus   
  • You have very good knowledge of technology, large machines and troubleshooting. It is important that you enjoy working where needed and like to work with your hands as you will work hands on with servicing our production facilities.  
  • Communicate fluently in both writing and speech in Swedish and English.  
  • You have an easy time creating good relationships and building trust.  
  • To succeed in this position, you are a very good problem solver, you learn easily and identify with our values of honesty, trust and respect. 
  • This role can be based in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Oslo.  
  • The role involves traveling for a large part of the working hours. 
  • It is a permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months. 
  • This position is background checked in accordance with NCC's safety culture
