Design and implement innovative offshore solutions
As part of NKT’s offshore engineering department you will be surrounded by colleagues within various engineering disciplines. NKT’s installation engineering department is highly versatile and regardless of the skills you hold at the moment you will be given the opportunity to broaden your engineering skills.
The engineers are deployed in project teams that are responsible for the preparation of complex projects from start to finish together with other departments and functions across NKT business.
The position is based out of Karlskrona.
Motivated engineer with an engaged mindset
We are looking for a motivated person who can ensure their work is completed with high-quality results according to agreed deadlines. You should be skilled in 2D and 3D drawing software and have a basic understanding of structural aspects when modeling equipment and tools.
You also have:
• An engineering degree.
• Basic understanding of welding design and theory.
• Structured way of working when building and developing models and drawings.
• Proficiency in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
You will be working closely with various engineers and crew on NKT’s vessels and use their input, project requirements and relevant standards to design equipment and produced relevant drawings and technical documentation.
In this role you will also travel to site to make sure the design is implemented as intended in collaboration with the project team.
