NKT in Karlskrona needs to strengthen its team and is now looking for a maintenance engineer who wants to work in a global company with the technology of the future. This role gives you the chance to work with exciting tasks related to service and maintenance of our test equipment.
Troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrade of high voltage laboratory equipment
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the specialist team for our test equipment whose main task is to develop, maintain and troubleshoot the equipment and ensure a high utilization rate of the same in the high voltage laboratory. In our customer projects, you will work closely with our test managers and test engineers but also have a close cooperation with the production department. The position may include standby duty.
Your main tasks:
* Troubleshooting, calibration and upgrade of equipment
* Maintenance of equipment and its documentation
* Carrying out preventive maintenance
* Planning and ensuring that critical spare parts are available when needed
* Analyzing test data
* Working systematically with API orders
* Working on investment and development projects
Tenacious problem solver with electrical expertise
We are looking for someone who is motivated, committed and tenacious with a strong technical interest. You have a high level of problem-solving skills and don't give up until you have solved the problem. You thrive in a role with teamwork and communication with others and are energized by the collaboration both with your colleagues internally but also with the customers you meet.
You probably have some form of electrical training in your luggage, but other combinations of experience and education that are relevant to the position are also interesting. If you currently work as a service or industrial electrician, you have a good background for the role. It is an advantage if you have worked with similar tasks and with products within high voltage. It is also advantageous with experience from, for example, nuclear power plants, electric power related work, PLC programming and control systems.
In addition, your CV contains:
* Civil or university engineering degree or similar in for example electrical engineering
* General electrical qualification
* Knowledge of high voltage is an advantage
* Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English
