Take the lead in machine safety and investment projects As a Production Engineering Project Manager at NKT, you will be responsible for investment and improvement projects, mainly in production, with budget planning, timeframes and resource allocation as your area of responsibility. The projects will be related to developing and investing in our production, both in terms of improving existing production lines but also investing in new equipment. The technical solutions with a focus on machine safety and user-friendliness are in priority, as well as the ability to communicate and purposefully deliver on time and budget. You will oversee all aspects of the project and ensure it adheres to Project Methodology for Investments (PMFI), as well as evaluate health, safety and environmental parameters of the project. As a project manager, you will analyze, predict and prevent risks and present continuous performance reports to the department management. Safety is NKT's priority and we therefore always put safety and our employees first. A natural part of the work as a project manager therefore includes leading and running important projects with machine safety in focus. Determined and collaborative leader To be effective and thrive in the role of project manager, it is essential to have managed projects in production or industry before. If you also have previous experience of machine design and machine safety work, this is considered an advantage. You excel as a decisive leader while maintaining a respectful attitude towards the value of diversity. You consistently recognize the importance of different people's contributions, skills and partnerships to the success of a project. As each solution and high voltage cable is designed based on customer requirements, the workflow must be consistent yet flexible to fit the needs of the development department while maintaining budget, plans and delivery dates. You are able to make quick decisions and delegate to maintain focus on results and delivery. Your goal-oriented approach ensures that deadlines are always met. In addition, your CV includes: * Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing or similar is advantageous. * Good experience with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and the SAP business system is an advantage. * Experience of the Props/GATE method of project management is advantageous. * Proficiency in both the Swedish and English language, both written and verbal, is essential.
