Key role in health and safety management
Health & Safety Excellence represents extensive specialist knowledge in matters related to occupational health and safety. It provides support and advice to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, and develops instructions and practices that contribute to a safer workplace. It also investigates serious incidents, provides training programs and supports management in implementing the right measures to maintain the health and safety of staff.
As a HS Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting managers to ensure a good working environment for our employees. You will be part of a team of 12 health and safety specialists, working together both strategically and operationally.
Your tasks include, among others:
* Responsible for the ISO 45001 management system, together with colleagues in the department
* Coordinating and coordinating the HS work in the day-to-day operations and representing the HS department in change work and projects
* Identify and evaluate risks in the work environment and develop action plans to minimize these risks
* Design and implement training programs to increase risk awareness and strengthen our safety culture
* Participate in and lead investigations of serious incidents and near misses, and disseminate lessons learned
Location is Karlskrona and you report to the Sr. Health & Safety Manager.
Experienced and committed health and safety specialist
We are looking for a committed and relationship-building person who enjoys working with others. You are thorough and methodical and have a clear focus on the good of the business. You are inspired by seeing projects through to completion and take responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed. To thrive in the role, it is also important that you feel comfortable giving presentations and trainings.
Your CV will include:
* Educated work environment engineer with at least 5 years of experience in work environment development in an industrial environment
* Good Swedish and English in speech and writing
* Previous work with ISO45001 and internal audits
* Experience of strategic work environment management and leadership is meritorious
