As the Sustainability Commercial & Tender Specialist at NKT you are primarily responsible for activities related to sustainability in our overall tendering process connected to large, global and highly complex technical projects. Develop the commercial scope in our large, global projects
As a Sustainability Commercial & Tender Specialist, you are a part of a team to develop tenders and negotiations for high-voltage cable systems that enable efficient energy transmissions between countries, from offshore wind farms and to offshore platforms.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
* Deliver high quality sustainability offerings to meet the tender sustainability requirements for both customers and NKT.
* Present our sustainability solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
* Support in negotiations and engage with stakeholders to integrate sustainability into tendering processes.
* Advise on best practices and develop sustainability within commercial activities and tenders.
* Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends and regulatory compliance.
You will be a part of a skilled team of colleagues placed mainly in Karlskrona, Sweden. Travel, within and outside of Europe is to be expected.
This position is based in Karlskrona and you will be part of the Sustainability Excellence Department and report to the head of Sustainability for High Voltage Solutions Karlskrona. You will work closely with many others in the organization both at Group and within the Business lines to ensure Sustainability goals are aligned and achieved.
Strategic and passionate Sustainability Specialist
We are looking for a result-oriented practitioner with a passion for sustainability. You will bring a broad understanding of sustainability principles for our policy and strategic roadmap. You are proactive and self-driven and have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Advisory skills with the ability to implement sustainability strategies are crucial. You thrive in a cross-functional collaborative environment and are committed to driving sustainable practices.
You also have:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Engineering or a related field with understanding of sustainability-related laws and regulations.
* Experience in coordinating large infrastructure projects, preferably within Sustainability management (ESG).
* Experience with environmental management systems (EMS).
* Experience in working with high risk and strictly confidential data.
* Fluency in spoken and written English. Swedish and/or a second language would be considered as merit.
