Right now we are looking for a Trainer in welding aimed at the machine section Splice Group. A role with broad responsibilities As a Welding Trainer, you will work with the parts that are included in the training of individuals in the competence area. You will work closely with the production manager concerned to develop, optimize and follow up the training in the competence area. Your main tasks will be to prepare, plan and implement relevant training courses in the area of competence. You will also support production managers in planning, following up and implementing training at individual level. Developing the welding program and supporting and training operators at all levels and ensuring that our routines and instructions are of a sufficiently good level and quality is also an important part as a Welding Trainer. The Trainer is directly subordinate and reports to the Production Manager. Curious, responsible and thorough We are looking for you who are curious, responsible and have a desire to develop according to set goals. The work requires that you have the ability and interest to teach and share your knowledge in an educational way. Structure and accuracy are elements that characterize you in the work you perform, while disciplined, self-motivated and flexible are consistent with your characteristics. Some of the work is administrative, which requires that you are used to using a computer and are familiar with the Office package and preferably some certification program in welding. To thrive in the role, you are confident in dealing with changes at short notice and enjoy working in a group as well as independently. The role of Splicing Trainer includes the following: * Planning and preparing for relevant training courses within the area of responsibility * Conducting planned trainings, internal trainings and briefings * Keeping up to date with international standards, methods, new welding equipment and new welding technologies * Together with the responsible manager plan competence development at individual level Requirements and experience To thrive in the role of Trainer in welding, it is required that you have many years of documented experience in the field of welding and an IWS training in the background. You also have a solid knowledge of MIG/MAG and TIG. It is a great advantage if you have previous experience of X-ray and tensile testing of welded material and it is meritorious with NDT Level-2 training. You are committed, thorough, structured, responsible and thrive in a learning role. You value delivering the best possible results in a production that promotes safety and quality. You are cooperative but also enjoy working independently.
