We at Norsk Tipping are looking for a skilled data engineer for our technology department. You will be part of a team and will help create the basis for insight-driven development.
The subject area the position belongs to is responsible for producing data, analyzes and insights for sales and communication processes and more general analysis and insight work. We are looking for you with solid experience and a curiosity that drives you to explore new solutions.

What does the job involve?

With us, you will either be part of our central data team or part of an interdisciplinary product team that puts the customer at the center. We have set our sights on the cloud (AWS) and have chosen Snowflake as the database platform for our data warehouse. We need you who want to be part of developing the future ecosystem for data and insight. Your everyday work will be about preparing data for analysis and insight work and also contributing to developing new insights, collaborating closely with colleagues and solving exciting technical challenges.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who:

• Have education in relevant disciplines at bachelor's or master's level.
• Have practical experience of implementing physical data warehouses and ETL either on prem or in the cloud
• Preferably have developed insights using Qlik Sense, PowerBI or similar
• "Speak" SQL fluently, strive to write clean and easy-to-read code, and thrive on sharing knowledge with your colleagues.
• Not afraid to ask questions, and want to learn and grow.
• Give constructive feedback and help your team to become even better.
• Be fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and English
