Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Engineering Manager to join our passionate team in Skellefteå. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manger to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of industrial projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with cross functional teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In general you have a long experience in the field and have been driving large, innovative and challenging maintenance projects with high demands on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•  Perform/Follow-up Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for industrial equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
•  Manage team of engineers responsible for design and commissioning of equipment
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to procure necessary materials, equipment, and services. Ensure timely delivery to support project timelines.
• Prepare and meticulously review Bill of Materials (BOM) and spare parts lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness to support project procurement and maintenance activities.
• Review machine manuals and maintenance documentation, providing technical insights and recommendations to optimize documentation clarity.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and service providers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and performance expectations.
• Coordinate third-party inspection activities and oversee commissioning processes to verify equipment functionality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications
