As a Document Controller within Maintenance Technical Services (MTS) at Nynäshamn Refinery, you’ll play a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate records for all technical documents, procedures, and maintenance plans essential to refinery operations. About the Job

As a Document Controller, your primary responsibility is to manage maintenance-related documentation with accuracy and timeliness. You’ll ensure that documents are controlled, distributed, and stored in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, supporting smooth maintenance workflows and enabling efficient communication across teams.

Reporting to the MTS Manager, you’ll work closely with planners, field technicians, and engineers to maintain high standards in documentation practices. Your contributions will directly support the team’s efforts to achieve higher efficiency, safety, and compliance in maintenance and turnaround activities.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Take full responsibility for organizing and maintaining documentation and records.
  • Ensure documents are efficiently processed, stored, and easily retrievable.
  • Update documentation (such as drawings, specifications, manuals) related to refinery maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to improving documentation processes in coordination with maintenance and operations teams.
  • Provide training to team members on document control procedures and assist with software use as necessary.

About you

To be successful in this role you have strong communications skills and can efficiently manage diverse stakeholders throughout the organisation.

In addition to the above you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business related field or equivalent experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in document control, preferably within an industrial or refinery setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Document Control systems (such as Smartplant foundation, Oracle, etc.)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with proficiency in Swedish being beneficial
