About the position

As an Automation Engineer, you will work in project form and be part of a team with designers in mechanics and electricity. In your role, you work with special orders, standardization and the development of new products, as well as adaptations of rebuilds and already delivered machines. You will work closely with the customer who expresses the need and then it is we at Ursviken who propose the solutions. Programming is done in BR Automation Studio.
In the role of automation engineer, you will be part of a strong team that is responsible for Ursviken's unique deliveries, designs and lean work of the company's product portfolio. We are a medium-sized company with short decision paths that care about our employees and encourage development. You will be involved in developing both new and existing products in line with Ursviken's customers' demand for innovative products.
The work is varied and challenging and you will have the opportunity to follow the projects from order to installation. Travel in the service occurs.

About you

You have an engineering degree or equivalent experience that we consider equivalent and experience of programming automation systems in industry. You have a genuine interest in technology and are used to programming with the program language ST (Structured Text) and/or C in BR Automation Studio, Siemens TIA Portal or equivalent development environment.
As a person, you are careful, structured and you have a desire to drive development forward. You have a good ability to work both independently and in groups and are good at creating and maintaining long-term relationships. You express yourself fluently in English and preferably also Swedish in both speech and writing.
