About the role

As a Design Manager, you will play a key role at Ursviken Technology. You will be part of the management team and report directly to the CEO. The department consists of a strong and dedicated team of about 10 people who are responsible for Ursviken's unique deliveries and designs. In your work as Design Manager you will together with your team develop both new and existing products in line with our customers' needs for innovative products.
The position also includes:

  • Management of the company's activities through strategic plans, target setting and budget.
  • Follow and be responsible for development in technology and methodology work.
  • Managing and distributing operational work and planned development work.
  • Ensure that our products meet market requirements in terms of design, functionality, quality and safety
  • Identify training needs for staff and develop training plans to ensure competence needs.

As an important part of our management team, you are expected to take responsibility for the company's strategy work and engage in current management issues.

Place of employment: Ursviken, 8km outside Skellefteå.

Your profile

As a leader, you are driven and enthusiastic and have the ability to develop your areas of responsibility and the department's employees. You are structured, businesslike and are good at creating and developing good and long-term relationships with your surroundings.
The right candidate is flexible, has good communication skills and can express themselves well in speech and writing in Swedish and English. We are looking for you who have a civil engineering degree in technology, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. We would like to see that you have a few years of experience from similar positions. B-driving license is a requirement.
