ABOUT THE JOBNow we are looking for a Group Manager for Process support for VA operations at Vakin in Umeå - a key role in our continued development of efficient working methods and internal coordination.

As Group Manager, you are responsible for leading and supporting a committed team of engineers who work with control and follow-up of various processes linked to the company's operations. Your mission will be to create structure, drive improvement work and enable collaboration between different functions, roles and units within the operating organization.

We are currently in an exciting phase of change, where we are shaping new structures, roles and working methods. An important part of your initial assignment will therefore be to help the business find its way in the new - to create security, clarity and good conditions for efficient and well-functioning cooperation internally.

You will:

• Lead, coach and develop a group of specialists in process support for water, wastewater and energy.
• Create clarity in goals, priorities and follow-up
• Strengthen collaboration with other business units and contribute to more efficient working methods
• Identify areas for improvement and initiate changes in close dialogue with the organization
• Ensure that processes and routines are appropriate and followed up over time

Requirements:
Engineering degree from university/college
Swedish and English in speech and writing
B-driving license

• Previous experience of leading staff in a knowledge-intensive business and preferably from the process industry
• Ability to communicate clearly, build trust and engage others
• A solution-focused and structured approach
• High sense of responsibility and ability to make wise decisions in everyday life
• An interest in leading change and creating participation in transition processes
• Experience of working with business development, quality systems or process management is meritorious
