We are now looking for an experienced Section Manager for our Water & Wastewater Operations department who wants to lead and develop our business forward.

As Section Manager, you have a key role in leading and developing the water and wastewater operations section. You are responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of our waterworks, reservoirs, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution networks. In your role, you lead the section's team leaders and create the conditions for a pleasant and stimulating working environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop the section's team leaders and employees.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and regulatory requirements in the water and wastewater sector and the environmental area.
• Drive change and improvement work and develop the section in quality, safety and sustainability.
• Responsible for the section's finances, planning and follow-up.
• Collaborate with other sections and municipalities to ensure the efficiency of operations.
• Participate in crisis preparedness and ensure that the necessary measures are in place in the event of operational disruptions.
• Participate in technical standard development and commissioning of new water and wastewater facilities.

We are looking for you who are an experienced leader with a strategic and operational approach. You will have an academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and a proven track record of good leadership and people management. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of financial management, budget work and experience of change management and improvement work.
