We at Cranab are in an exciting phase! We are making new investments in our factories and machinery and therefore need to strengthen our team in the maintenance department. Do you have expertise in operations and maintenance technology? Then this role could be perfect for you!

Your tasks with us

As a Maintenance Technician, you are a central cog in our machinery. It is you and your colleagues who, through systematic maintenance of our machines, tools and properties, ensure that our production can run with as few and short interruptions as possible.

As a maintenance technician, you will work with ongoing, preventive and planned maintenance work in our production and factories. You are given opportunities for continuous development in a fast-paced work climate.
The service also includes various care and maintenance of our properties.

We are located in beautiful Vindeln (about 5 miles from Umeå) where we develop and manufacture our products which are then delivered and used worldwide.


The position is full-time until further notice.


More about the position
In this role, you will troubleshoot, identify and solve problems in the production lines, which consist of a machine park of varying age and models. You will be supporting and working closely with our production departments.

Your tasks will include

  • Preventive maintenance measures to avoid production stops.
  • Development of the maintenance department and real estate.
  • Repairs of machines and equipment.
  • Working with PLC systems, automation systems and mechanics.
  • Various maintenance of our properties, which means that electrical authorization is highly meritorious.
Who are you?

We are looking for you who have good knowledge in workshop technology, control systems, automation and machine repairs. We see that you have education and / or experience in these areas, but we will attach great importance to personal suitability. Furthermore, we see that you handle Swedish and English in speech and writing.

As a person, you are interested, communicative and proactive. You like technical challenges and have a solution-oriented approach. Since no two days are the same, it is important that you have a good ability to analyze, plan and, together with your colleagues, carry out your work successfully. You work carefully and systematically and always strive to deliver high-quality results.
