Are you the one?

Are you ready to lead and develop an organization that promotes entrepreneurship and supports the growth of new companies? We are now looking for a new committed Operations Manager who, on a consulting assignment, wants to be part of Nyföretagarcentrum Nord and help shape the future support for new entrepreneurs in Norrbotten.

About NyföretagarCentrum Nord

NyföretagarCentrum Nord is a non-profit association that offers free objective advice and support to new and aspiring entrepreneurs. Our purpose is to promote new business in all industries and contribute to a sustainable business community in Norrbotten. Through collaboration with municipalities and the business community, advice, training, inspiration and business networks are offered during the first three years of operation for new entrepreneurs.

The local advisors have a broad range of skills to help new entrepreneurs plan for the start and development of their business ideas. The advisors each work independently, to varying degrees on consulting assignments for the association.
The organization has a local presence in seven municipalities: Arvidsjaur, Haparanda, Boden, Luleå, Pajala, Piteå, Överkalix and Övertorneå. We are now looking for an Operations Manager who will take overall overall responsibility for further developing and leading the business in Norrbotten.

About the consultant role

We are looking for you who thrive on creating and developing relationships and who have a genuine commitment to supporting others in their development. You have the ability to see the big picture while managing details with accuracy and structure. Your communication is responsive and clear, which allows you to build trust with both colleagues and partners.
In the role, you are a central force in leading and developing the business.

You work with financial management, budgeting and reporting, while also running projects such as mentoring programs and digital initiatives. You plan and initiate future projects that strengthen our business and create value for our stakeholders. You will lead and coordinate the team by recruiting, onboarding and supporting advisors in their work. By building a positive work culture and nurturing relationships within the team, you create an environment where everyone can perform at their best.

As a key part of the business, you are also responsible for marketing and communications. Having a broad business network within the business community in Norrbotten is meritorious as the role is about establishing collaborations with municipalities, regional actors and other partners. An important task will be to ensure the short-term and long-term financing of the business. To succeed in this, you will need to initiate new projects for our business.
We would like you to have experience in finance, leadership and organizational development, as well as entrepreneurship and new business. The assignment covers 60% of full time.
