Nordic Equipment Welding is now looking for a driven production manager for our workshop in Kalix - an opportunity for you who want to influence, develop and make a real difference in an exciting industry.

Nordic Equipment Welding is a local company with a focus on long-term value creation for customers. Our greatest asset is our employees, and through high competence and regular training we guarantee quality in everything we do. We offer everything from design and manufacturing to maintenance and repair of construction equipment. Since 2024, we have been certified according to EN 1090-1 for structural steel parts and kits, which consolidates our position as a reliable player in the industry.

We are now looking for a production manager for our operations in Kalix. This is a role for you who want to have a big influence and work in an environment where you can really make a difference. You will be part of the management team and be responsible for leading and further developing production with a focus on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As a production manager with us, you lead the daily work in the workshop, ensure that we comply with current quality and environmental requirements and ensure that production meets the requirements set within our industry. The role includes staff responsibilities and requires a leader who can inspire and drive the team forward. With an unpretentious and committed attitude, you will have a central role in the company's continued growth.
You will work closely with our welders, designers and other officials to plan and optimize production. In addition, you have an important role in contact with customers and suppliers, where you contribute to long-term relationships and sustainable business.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience of work management of some kind as well as welding.
It is advantageous if you have had or have a production management role or personnel responsibility in the engineering industry, preferably in the heavy segment. You probably have a background that makes you aware of the importance of quality and efficiency in production.

You have a good ability to plan and structure the work, and to adapt to changing conditions. We see being result-oriented and businesslike as a matter of course. We value your communication skills, as the role involves interaction with both employees and external parties.

In addition, you have good computer skills and the ability to document and follow up the business. Experience of ISO 3834 and EN 1090-1 is an advantage, but not a requirement. You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English, and have a B driving license.
