Are you the one? Only 150 meters from Linköping Central Station is Scandic Frimurarehotellet - the hotel where tradition and future meet. Located right next to the Cathedral in one of Linköping's most beautiful buildings is our modern and relaxed hotel dating back to 1912. The hotel is Östergötland's largest and organizes everything from meetings and weddings to large banquets.
We who work here are almost a hundred employees and we have our origins from about the whole world, just like our guests. The fact that we are a large hotel and that the three Scandic hotels in Linköping have joint management means that there are very good development opportunities for our employees.
We are now looking for a sous chef with responsibility for our dinners at Scandic Frimurarehotellet.

What does the role of Sous Chef entail?
You will play a very important role in the hotel by ensuring a world-class guest experience when it comes to our food and beverage environments. Your main tasks are to plan, prepare and cook food, and to present the food in an appealing way. You will also support the Head Chef when needed and assist the team in other areas of the hotel.
Who are you?
To be suitable for this role, you need to have a passion for food and be attentive to detail and the individual needs of guests. You appreciate orderliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to give our guests a great dining experience. For this position, we want you to have completed chef training or have acquired equivalent skills in another way. Personal qualities and attitude are most important for this recruitment. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.
Information about the position:
The position is a full-time, permanent position.
We apply probationary period. Your immediate manager will be our kitchen manager. The position includes day shifts and evening shifts during weekdays and weekends. Start date by agreement.
