During the summer, guests from all corners of the world visit the pearl of the west coast, Gothenburg. What does the role involve? As a receptionist, you are responsible for providing world-class service to our guests. You are the spider in the web that makes sure the guest is always in focus. You're the one who goes through the arrival list and spends time on the details. Making sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most problems and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. Working at reception means checking guests in and out, greeting them and giving them the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the system and administrative tasks around guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. Who are you? - You are attentive and curious about your surroundings, colleagues and guests. - You have a habit and appreciate having many balls in the air at the same time. - You are a team player who sees the "we" before the "I", and have a team spirit. - You are reliable, take responsibility for your tasks, and like order and tidiness. - You have a positive attitude, and a solid sense of service. You also have experience and knowledge of working with computers as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. Information about the position We are looking for temporary positions for the summer season, both full and part-time at the following hotels: - Scandic Europa - Scandic Opalen - Scandic Rubies - Scandic Crown - Scandic No 25 - Scandic Mölndal - Scandic Backadal - Scandic Landvetter - Scandic Gothenburg Central The hotel is open around the clock, we are therefore looking for summer staff for day shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends). The employment extends over the entire summer period and we therefore see that you are available to work all that time.
