We are now looking for a F&B Manager for Scandic Borlänge.

What does the role entail
As F&B Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the breakfast, restaurant and kitchen. You are constantly updated and have an eye on the market. You are also responsible for striking the all-important balance between short-term profits and long-term sustainable performance. In this role, you are expected to lead the department with the help of your direct reports and drive our F&B departments forward.
Furthermore, the position entails that you:

Work strategically and with target management (including relevant key performance indicators).

Motivates and coaches your staff.

Attracting and recruiting future colleagues.

Being part of the hotel's management team where you are actively involved in the long-term work of the entire hotel.

The role reports to the General Manager.

You will be expected to have good interpersonal and communication skills and experience in inspiring and building lasting relationships. You also have a good ability to delegate and you promote employees to take responsibility and thus enable them to act proactively and independently.

Experiences you bring and share with us

Relevant education and training.

Experience in a management position in the service industry.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Experience in supervising managers is an advantage.

The position is a full-time, permanent position.
We apply probationary period. Requirements are that you have previous experience in a similar role and are used to leading large teams. It is an advantage if you have management experience from both kitchen and restaurant. The position can be filled before the last day of application. The position may also include operational responsibilities for periods of time.
