What does the role involve? Working in meetings and at the reception, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web that ensures that the guest is always in focus. You are the one who goes through booked events or guest nights, spending time on the details. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most problems and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your workplace is our event floor and also our lobby. Because that's where you meet the most guests. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, simple serving, furnishing, security work and work with sales. The work with meetings and at the reception means receiving meeting and hotel guests, welcoming them, going through what has been planned for the guest and giving the guest the information they need about what has been booked for the guest's meeting hotel stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security. You handle simple serving of food and drinks in connection with guests' meetings with us. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. The hotel is open around the clock and it is therefore important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends). Who are you? To fit the role, we believe that you have well-developed interpersonal skills and are able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. Information about the position The position is a part-time, permanent position. Your manager is our Assistant Reception and Meeting Manager. Organizationally, you belong to the Reception and Meetings team. We apply a probationary period. The position is part-time, and you will mainly work in the hotel's meeting department. However, you will also work in the hotel reception and work in other departments may occur. You may be offered to work additional hours if needed. We only accept applications via our website.
