Scandic Technical Operations is looking for a full-time Senior Property Technician! As a technician, you will be part of an organization that together is responsible for property operations at 28 Scandic hotels in the Stockholm region. You will be based at one of our hotels, but will assist at all Scandic Stockholm hotels. You will report to the Property Manager and to MTO, Manager Technical Operations. An example of your duties as Property Technician will be: - Supervision and patrolling of the property. - Troubleshooting property maintenance, this could be anything from changing taps, fixing locks, to refinishing furniture. - Preventive systematic fire protection work - Helping to run preventive maintenance projects Meritorious: - Documented work as Property Technician / Property Manager / Property Technician - Documented work in the construction sector - carpenter, tiler, plumber or similar - Education/knowledge in electrical engineering - Good knowledge of building management systems - Used to working in M365 (Microsoft Office) - Swedish and English in speech and writing. Your background and personality We are looking for you who have work experience as a property technician and who want to work in a property organization, where you at your hotel work in a team with close cooperation with the hotel's other departments. You will work closely with the hotel's Property Manager who is your supervisor. As a Property Technician, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where quick decisions are made and, as the driven problem solver you are, you take on and solve unpredictable situations that may arise in the technical operation of a hotel. Many contact surfaces within your own team as well as at the hotels require good collaboration skills. And since much of the work takes place in common areas with proximity to our dear guests, integrity and social skills are important personal qualities for the role. Working hours vary but are daytime and weekend work occurs.
