What does the role of Shift Leader Front Office entail? As a Front Office Shift Leader, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You solve most things and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security work and sales work. In the role of Shift Leader, in addition to being part of the operation, you have the overall overview of the guest flow and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the business flows so that the guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and manage the staffing during your shift. The work includes standard reception tasks such as check-in and check-out, handling reservations, administrative tasks, guest service, keeping the lobby and reception area in the best condition and ensuring that existing procedures are followed. You have a strong guest focus and by working with goals and follow-up, you create the conditions for employees to provide professional service to our guests. If necessary, you will train new employees. The hotel is open 24 hours a day, so it is important that you are comfortable working in shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends). Your skills For this role, you need to have both the ability and willingness to work with a leadership while being involved in the operation. You are confident in your leadership and have both integrity and sales drive. To fit the role, we also believe that you have well-developed social skills and are able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You are a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, this is an advantage. Information about the position: The position is a permanent full-time position and includes weekend work.
