We are now looking for a Shift Leader for the Reception and Meeting Department.

What does the role of Shift Leader Front Office and Meeting entail?
As a Front Office and Meeting Shift Leader, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web that ensures that the guest is always in focus. You are the one who leads and distributes the work during your shift. You solve most things. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security work and work with sales. The work in the Front Office and Meeting involves checking in and out the hotel's guests, greeting them and giving them the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security.
In the role of Shift Leader, in addition to being part of the operation, you have the overall overview of the guest flow and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the business flows so that guests are satisfied. You ensure that procedures and checklists are followed. You manage staffing during your shift. You train new employees at the hotel and you also relieve the Front Office & Meeting Manager with some administrative tasks.
The hotel is open 24 hours a day and it is therefore important that you are comfortable working in shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends).
Your skills
For this role, you need to have both the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and have documented leadership experience.
As the role is divided between the reception and our conference department, you need to have a documented experience of conference/meeting knowledge and reception work.
To fit the role, you will have well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You are a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. It is an advantage if you are used to working in Opera Cloud and M365.
Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
