What is the role of Shift Leader Housekeeping?
In the role of Shift Leader, you are a big part of the hospitality for the entire hotel, both towards guests and colleagues. In addition to being part of the operation, you have an overview of the workflow in the team. Together with the team, you make sure to prioritize tasks so that the business flows so that the guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and manage the staffing during your shift.
In addition to the above tasks, you will also clean hotel rooms, corridors, kitchenettes and public areas of the hotel. You handle laundry and replenish supplies. Of course, you will support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important task of ensuring that the hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests have a "wow" feeling when they enter the hotel and their hotel room.
When needed, you will be given the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and you will also relieve the Housekeeping Manager with some administrative tasks.
Who are you?
To be suitable for this role, we believe that you have at least two years of professional experience, as well as experience in guest relations and service operations. You have both the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, if you know additional languages it is an advantage.
To thrive in the role, you also need to be thorough and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have a good physique, are flexible and have good collaboration skills, as all employees together are responsible for the guest's experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague.
Most importantly, however, are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey a good sense of hospitality to the hotel's guests.

The position is a full-time temporary position for a minimum of one year starting no later than May 1, 2025.
