What does the role of Shift Leader Reception and Restaurant entail? As a Reception and Restaurant Shift Leader, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service, which is why it's so important that you have a warm attitude and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You are the spider in the web that ensures that the guest is always in focus. You like order and tidiness, both in your own and your colleagues' work. You solve most things and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied guest. As the reception and restaurant work as a team, your duties may vary. The work at the reception involves checking in and out the hotel's guests, greeting them and giving them the information they need about their stay. You will manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks around guests and security. In the restaurant, your main duties are to serve food and drinks. In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for the hospitality of the entire hotel both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operation, you have the overall overview of the guest flow and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the business flows so that guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute work and manage staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will be given the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and you will also relieve the reception manager and restaurant manager with some administrative tasks. The hotel is open 24 hours a day, so it is important that you are comfortable working in shifts (mornings, afternoons and weekends). Your skills For this role, you need to have both the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and have both integrity and sales drive. To fit the role, we also believe that you have well-developed social skills and are able to handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel guests. You are a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a tool. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, this is an advantage. Who are you? To fit the role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work.
