What does the role of head waiter involve? As the first person our guests meet in our restaurant, it is of great importance that you have a warm welcome and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a burning interest in food and drink and like order and orderliness, both in your own and your colleagues' work. All to give our guests a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to receive guests, lead and coach the team on site and be responsible for ensuring that all our guests have a fantastic experience. You will also support the team at the hotel with other tasks when needed. As a maître d', you will be responsible for the hospitality of the entire hotel for both guests and staff. In addition to being part of the operation, you have the overall overview of the guest flow in the restaurant and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the business flows so that the guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and manage the staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will be given the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and you will also relieve the Restaurant Manager with some administrative tasks. Who are you? To be suitable for this role, we believe that you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and have both integrity and sales drive.
