Scandic Karlskrona is located directly on the water with a fantastic view of the archipelago. At the same time, the hotel is centrally located close to most of what Karlskrona has to offer. The hotel opened in 2010, this summer we welcome our guests to a newly renovated and expanded hotel with a total of 255 rooms, 9 meeting rooms, rooftop bar, wellness with sauna and pool, restaurant, bar and outdoor seating. You act as a host together with the rest of the team at the hotel and create a world-class guest experience. What does the role involve? Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important task of ensuring that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests get a "wow feeling" when they enter the hotel and their hotel room. The role includes cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, kitchenettes and public areas. You and your colleagues will contribute to the general order of the hotel premises, handle laundry and replenish our supplies. Who are you? To thrive in this role, you need to be meticulous and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have a good physique, are flexible and have good collaboration skills as all employees together are responsible for the guest's experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague. You have previous experience from the cleaning profession, guest service and can communicate in Swedish. As we use Ipads, you need to have some computer skills. Previous experience from hotels is an advantage. Information about the position The position is a fixed-term part-time position.
