We are looking for a Chef for the Banquet Kitchen at Scandic Gothenburg Central.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you are responsible for the Banquet Kitchen where you have the overall responsibility for ensuring world-class food delivery and guest experience within our business area C&B - Conference & Banquette.
The banquet kitchen delivers all food such as coffee, lunch and dinners to our conference guests, banquets and large events as well as to our staff restaurant.
This means that you, together with your team and in close collaboration with colleagues in F&B, ensure a high level of consistency and an offer that meets the needs of our guests and customers.
You lead and develop the business and employees based on the company's strategy, goals and local conditions. You have a passion for food and service and through your leadership you inspire and motivate your employees. You create the conditions so that together you can give our guests outstanding guest experiences. As a Chef, you are part of the daily operations and you are responsible for planning and staffing based on the needs of the business, but you also have an important role in the hotel's overall operations.

You have at least three years' experience of leading others in a similar role and relevant training and experience in the service industry. You have good administrative skills, experience of financial planning and follow-up and good experience of working in various systems. You also need to have a good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We would like to see that you have previously worked with ordering activities and production on a larger scale.

The position is a full-time, permanent position, with a 6-month probationary period.
